Hawksmoor Homes has chosen Pirbright Renewable Energy to design and install its renewable energy requirements in accordance with the councils planning requirement to achieve 10% low carbon energy Pirbright used BREEAM and looked at several routes to achieve this from using heat pump or solar thermal, but with agreement from the client a in roof solar PV system was chosen along with advice on using LED lighting.
